1 Purpose and Significance
Death is an important theme for poems to observe,“no death ,no literature”。
But few writers love to write essays about death while they prefer theme of love,for they think it is too gloomy ,and they have no idea of what the death really is。However ,there was one person who was fond of expressing death in his works,including the death of beauties and other thing ,and he showed that he was yearning for the death ,and he tried to convey beauty of death in his poems。he is Edgar Allan Poe 。
