This paper attempts to begin with the influences which produced by the occurrence and development of feminist movement on feminine literature, and tries to analyze the different feminist thought in the works of Margaret Mitchell in Ameri ca and Zhang Ailing in China. The heroine's disposition differences symbolize the pe rformance of feminine awareness under the different cultural background, and find t he effect which produced by feminist thought on modern society in china and weste rn countries through parison. Key Words Feminist Movement; feminine literature; cultural difference; feminist though 绪论女权运动是妇女争取与男子平等的权利, 以改善妇女社会地位和生活境遇为主要目的的社会运动。又称妇女解放运动, 女权主义者坚持男女应享有平等的政治、经济和文化等方面的法律权利, 强调女性必须彻底摆脱父权制思想观念的束缚, 丰富和发展其特性, 发出不同于男性的声音,从而实现由强调男女法律上平权的旧女权主义向解构男性政治思想文化霸权、确立女性视角的新女权主义或女性主义的转变。 20 世纪 30 、 40 年代, “人们在反思政治上的失误造成的经济文化等诸多方面的问题时, 一些敏感的女性意识到自己的“无我”状态, 她们不但批判男性文学对她们形象的歪曲,而且开始以写作表达自己独特的对社会、对人类、对自我的体察和体验”。( 刘杰锋, 117 )。她们为浮出历史地表而挣扎, 为从男性文学中突围而探索。张爱玲和玛格丽
