The solution to the previous probles introduced here is a lightweight workflow architecture that enables software developers to pick and choose the workflow featuresthety the core of the architecture,several ponents provide basic workflow functionality.
In the paper,firstly,the workflow management system is divided into three layers,
namely view、business logic and data ,give an elaboration on workflow engine and process definition as follows:
investigations and researches on actualities of workflow technology,as well as give deeply analysis and parisons on mainstream open source workflow management system.
on work flow theory,and based on design principle of sufficient,flexible and low-cost,we make researches on the lightweight workflow management system,as well as elaborate on its design and implementation put emphasize on the core modules in workflow engine such as workflow process template management,workflow instance management,the list ofwork-item management,transfer services,time constraints services,and so on. Also,we discuss design and implementation of process definition tools.
