我国古代诗人在严格的格律束缚下,着力于构筑情景交融的意美,达到“从心所欲,不逾矩”的境界,充分发挥和展现了汉语表义的魅力。给译者带来很大困难。

“3S”Priciple
许先生曾说:‘三美’的重要性并不是鼎足三分的。在我看来,最重要的是‘意美’,其次是‘音美’,再其次是‘形美’。换句话说,押韵的‘音美’和整齐的‘形美’是必要条件,而‘意美’却既是必需条件,又是充分条件。因此,在翻译唐诗的时候,我要求在传达原诗这种‘音美’和‘形美’的范围之内,用‘深化’、‘等化’、‘浅化’的译法,尽可能传达原诗的‘意美’”。
