[Abstract]: After watching the movie Gua Sha, I realized the strong cultural conflict between china and western countries. As the process of globalization, this is inevitable, and it has made many jokes and embarrassments, which do no good to the development of our relationships with other countries. So it’s of great importance for us to know the reasons and what’s more find solutions to them, making munication more fluent and enjoyable.

A brief introduction to the movie
The movie Gua Sha reveals many cultural conflicts between china and western countries. The content is about a Chinese, Datong Xu, picked up his father to the US, after he got ess there. Once, Datong’s son, Daniel, got a stomachache, his father
treated him with the traditional Chinese method——Gua Sha. However, when the
little boy went to the hospital to have a body check, the doctors who knew nothing about Gua Sha, saw the bruises on his back, and doubted that the child was ill-treated at home. So the doctor contacted the child protective services of America. Thus, a series of lawsuit were aroused.
