Introduction
Throughout 2008, each analyst on the Stratecast team has developed views on current and future
trends in our specific areas of research focus. These views often serve as the basis for
comprehensive studies examining the trend and its implications on the industry and market
participants. These studies are published and distributed to our subscription customers as they are
completed.
With the end of 2008 fast approaching, we are taking this opportunity to summarize key trends
from our past studies and supplement with others we have not yet expressed in our publications
that we believe will be noteworthy in 2009.
We also take a brief look back at our predictions last year. We highlight key predictions that
proved true, and some where our crystal ball proved cloudy.
We hope you find our format of prediction and impact valuable. If you would like to discuss these
predictions with Stratecast, please contact your Frost & Sullivan/Stratecast Account Executive or
your Client Value Enhancement representative.
May we be the first to wish you all the best in 2009,
The analyst team at Stratecast
