Part I Lead in
Proper control of shipment is very important in the exporting and importing. Indispensable terms as this part, it means the seller’s fulfillment of the obligation to make delivery of the goods. As we know, a delayed shipment may mean losing the order and the customer's trust. As to the shipment of goods, we should pay attention to the following contents: 1) modes, 2) time, 3) place of shipment and destination, 4) partial shipment and transshipment, 5) shipping instruction sent by the buyer and shipping advice by the seller.
When es to shipment, it includes such procedures as clearing the goods through the Customs, booking shipping space or chartering a ship, completing shipping documentation, dispatching shipping advice. There are three parties involved in the movement of goods:
1) The consignor or the shipper
2) The carrier
3) The consignee .
