唐代的游艺民俗活动丰富多彩, “斗百草”游艺, 曾经风靡一时, 在唐代社会、文化、生活中都有一定的反映。本文借助现存文献记载和唐代斗草诗歌, 微探民俗文化奥妙, 发现斗百草的民俗活动实际是大唐盛世文明的缩影, 体现了唐代社会开明的政治和积极向上的民族精神。

Abstract:
The recreational activities of the Tang Dynasty were rich and varied, and the "hundred herbs" entertainment was once the rage, and reflected in the society, culture and life of the Tang Dynasty. Based on the existing literature and the Tang Dynasty poems of "hundred herbs", this paper subtle exploration of folk culture, found the bucket hundred herbs folk activities is actually a microcosm of Tang Dynasty civilization, reflecting the Tang Dynasty society enlightened politics and spirit.

一、斗百草民俗及文学渊源
中国传统节日的游戏娱乐安排, 经历了较为漫长的历史时期才逐步臻于定型。“游艺娱乐民俗, 是一种以消遣休闲和调节身心健康为主要目的的民俗活动, 它包括民间的游戏、竞技、杂艺等方面的娱乐活动及其民俗文化事象。”[1]我国古代的游艺娱乐民俗中, 有一类活动称为“斗戏”。“斗戏”大致可分为两种:一种是有意识地驱使或引逗兽、禽、虫、鸟等相斗, 供人们观赏的游戏, 如斗鸡、斗蟋蟀等;另一种则以花草为比赛对象, 整个游戏过程靠花草来完成, 这种游戏又叫“斗百草”, 极为古老而又简单, 很受妇女、儿童的喜爱。
“斗百草”游戏起源上古, 至唐宋时代非常盛行, 在唐宋诗词中有大量踪迹可寻。关于“斗百草”的起源有以下三种观点:一是中医药学说, 《夏小正》中有:“此日(五月五日) 蓄众采药, 以蠲除毒气。”据此我们可以推测, 至少在夏代时已经形成的在每年五月五日采集草药的****俗, 很可能就是“斗百草”的雏形。二是草卜巫
