Carving a boat and be eager for a sward
One day, a person in Chu state was crossing a river by a boat, then, a precious sward on his clothes fell into the river accidentally. He was not worried about it at all; he slowly took a knife out, and then made a mark on the side of the boat.
Someone asked him:
“Why do not you dump into the river and pick it up? Is it useful to make a mark on the side of the boat? ”
He pointed the mark on the boat and said calmly:
”
“Do not worry about that. My sword fell down from the place where there is a mark. When the boat reaches the bank, I will go into river according the mark, and then I will get my sword.”
