After reading the article “happiness”, I finded [found]some words and sentences I can't understand. For example, in garaphgra7 the phrase “in study after study” I don't understand it's meaning accurate. Whit reference book I know its meaning is “many researchs indicare [research indicated] ”. In garaphgra8 the phrase “control over …” I also don't understand it's meaning even whit dictionary.
In garaphgra9 the sentence “one could reason that pessinists[ pessimists] …”I don't know why the word “could” before the word “reason” in the sentence. In the article has a sentence “blessen [blessed] is he who expects nothing, for he shall never disiwppointed,[disappointed] ” wrote poet Alexander Pope. I don't agree with the poet's opinion. I think if one people who expect nothing, he will never feel the happiness with successful of something. His life is insipid also he shall never disappointed [disappoint]. And if one person never disappointed also he will never know the successful is how beautiful, also he will don't kown[know] what is happiness.

In paragraph 6, there is one strange word to me. The soar means suddenly rises. There proposed one question that is are(去掉) steady improvements in the economy accompanied by increasing happiness? There（the） answer is not necessarily. Steady improvements in the economy are not accompanied by a steady increase in people’s assessments of their own happiness.

In paragraph 7, I don’t quite understand the meaning of sentence “in study after study”. Afterwards I looked up the material; I found that（+it） means “The multitudinous research indicated”.

Paragraph 7-10, the new words are not many and sentences are not difficult. Serenity means (+be) Tranquil. “Deprived of control over…and worse health” has some difficulties. It tell(tells) us that the four traits that （去掉that+ are）typical of happy people. They respectively are: happy people like themselves; happy people typically feel personal control; happy people are usually optimistic; happy people tend to be extroverted.

It mainly talks about the qualities of happy people from paragraph 6 to paragraph 11. I can understand the most part of the passage though there are many new words during my reading. The author gives his own question and an answer in order to bring out his own opinion in passage 6. Then, the writer lists 4 traits and explains them in the following 4 paragraphs.
“I'm a lot of fun to be with”――I do not really understand why it's “am” not “have”. There is a lot of same meaning of “but”, the writer use “nevertheless” to take have place of the“but”. I should learn how to use English words which have the same meaning.
“――” always give the hint that the writer are going to explain in detail. I can throw the explaination away if I want to increase my speed during my reading.
The auther are really good at using questions to draw attention. After have talked about the 4 traits, the writer shows other opinion to expound “the causal arrows are uncertain”.

第2次赛跑后，龟兔握手言和，一起包种了一片菜地，种起了玉米，忙得热火朝天。转眼间，秋天到了，玉米田里一片金灿灿，非常诱人，狡猾的兔子在心中打起了如意算盘：如果我能占整个地盘就好了，对！赛跑！就再赛跑一次！兔子没再多想就告诉乌龟：“老弟我们再赛跑一次，谁嬴了谁就拥有整个玉米田。好吗？”乌龟正在搓玉米粒，一听这话，眼珠一转，说：“行！但是可以用机械帮助。”“可以。”兔子不知道机械的厉害，张口就说。“后天就赛。”“后天就赛。”两人都说。
下午，兔子有点儿心疑，便去看乌龟在干吗，不看不知道一看吓一跳，乌龟正在往壳里装火箭装置呢！兔子吓愣了，赶忙去找狐狸帮忙，狐狸趴在他耳边说：“如此…如此…这般…这般…”
原来，狐狸对他说，“找一个一模一样的替身不就行了吗？“这不，他在山上找呢!一边在山上找一边还嘀咕着：“真难找啊!”突然，他感觉有人在拍他的'肩膀，转头一看原来也是一只兔子，看他转过头来，便对他说：“你是找我的吗？“兔子听了这话，才仔细的打量他，果然，他和自己长的一模一样，连忙说：“是的，快请跟我回家吧!”到了家兔子给他换上和自己一模一样衣服，对他说：“如此…如此…这般…这般…”
第2天，比赛开始了，“啪”，随着大象裁判的发令枪声乌龟箭一样的冲向终点。2分钟后乌龟就到了终点可兔子（真的兔子的替身兔子）已经到达终点了，还说：“蜗牛，我都睡完两觉了！！！！”谁知，大象裁判却给了他一巴掌，兔子问他干什麽？他说：“盖个检验章。”
后来，去颁奖时大象却把土地证给了乌龟，兔子愤愤不平的说：“我先到的这证凭什麽给他？”大象说：“你脸上没有手印，说明你用了替身！”“谁说的，”兔子转过身来给自己了一个巴掌，“这不是吗？”“掌印不相符！”“唉”兔子只好看着乌龟得意洋洋的吃玉米。
有的时候还是老实点好啊！

我曾想过背上行囊行天下，去看世界真的无限大吗，满足心里的那份好奇，也许那只是个幻想，也许是18岁那年看成龙电影多了让人有追逐潇洒的念头，其实那是个青春的一个梦而已，等梦醒来，回到那跟随潮流走在社会主义道路上时，那份单纯的想法就随泊逐流，被世俗所占有。现在我象是网游征途里一样，不停的打怪，比拼，升级，完成那没完没了的任务，然后回家静静的修理自己的羽翼。上个星期四我和朋友在酒吧里畅饮，到了12点多朋友要走了，我说：等下我在走，有点晕，你们先回去吧反正住的也近，朋友说了什么等我啊，一起走啊等等，我还是坚持要坐一下，朋友不好说什么，就先回去了。
我闭上眼睛呆坐在那里，几分钟后我感觉有人在拍我的手，我迷糊的张开眼睛，看到她......第一反映是老外，女老外，瞒漂亮的女老外。她用英文说：Toast，还好这个我听的懂，我用中文说：好，喝。反正也没和老外喝过，酒是喝下去了，但是在接下来的几分钟里我不知道说什么，语言不通啊~~她在想什么呢我在思考着等等问题，然后她突然说：你好！我叫卡思丽，从俄罗斯来。她居然会说国语，好，很好，非常好，我用了3个好字来形容是因为她国语说的非常标准，比起那些广东发达地区的人来，我感到羞愧。
我：你好！我叫陆科良，很高兴认识你，你来中国流学吗？
丽：是的，在广西大学就读学。
我：你是学中文的？
丽：不是。
我：那你中文怎么说的那么好？
丽：我在俄罗斯就学习过了。
我：哇~你好厉害，（喝酒~~）你不住学校吗？
丽：不住，我住在这边，和两个俄罗斯朋友一起。
我：你觉的南宁还习惯吧？
丽：还可以，不象北京车那么多。南宁东西也好吃。
我：那就好，你朋友呢？
丽：他们回去了，我还想一个人坐一下，然后看见你也自己一个人坐在这里，我就过来和你聊聊天，你不介意吧？
我：不介意，不介意，随便聊（心想：她是不是喝多了，不过又不象，说的那么清醒，要不，是我喝多了，是不是在做梦？不如证明一下看看是不是做梦好了……）
我：我们可以握个手吗？
丽：刚才我们不是握过了吗？
我：不是吧，我不记的了，要不再来一次，可以吗？（我礼貌的伸出了流氓之手）
丽：好，（她礼貌的伸出了友谊之手）
我：你知道握手是代表什么吗？
丽：代表友好。
我：对，是友好，不过有时候也代表自己是不是在做梦。（她收回了手，有点不明白什么意思）
丽：你可以说的清楚点吗？（一脸傻笑）
我：我心情不爽，刚才喝多了，开眼看见个金发美女，所以我想确认下是不是做梦。明白吗？
丽：好象明白
我：不明白也没关系，反正现在我们是朋友了，Toast。。。。
接下来，我们天南地北的聊，想问就问。。。。。
先生你好！我们要打洋了，服务员说，我：几点打洋了？
服务员：4点。
我：现在几点？
服务员：4点。
我：哦，过的那么快，那。。。买单吧！
好才我明天休息，不然囚了，走出门口，我们道别，骑上我的电驴刚想飞奔回家，她突然叫我。
明天你有时间吗？
我：明天？你想做什么？
丽：我来这里4年，过两天就回俄罗斯了，你可以带我一天吗？
我：怎么带？你可以叫你的同学啊。
丽：他们都回家了，已经到实习阶段，来这4年我也没有拍过这里的人和事，我想买个相机把他们拍回去，以后帮助回忆。
我：嗯！很好的理由，那你以前为什么不拍呢，现在拍是不是晚了？
丽：以前我除了上课外，也做老师交别人英语和俄罗斯语，所以出来的时间比较少。
我：嗯！很好的借口。
丽：外出的一切费用由我来出，如果你有时间的话。
我：明天我不知道有什么事，我留个电话给你，明天你打这个电话，好吗？
丽：那说好了。
我：好。要我送你回去吗？
丽：不用了，就住前面。
我：那好，拜拜……
一天很快过去了，第2天上午9点，电话响起：哈漏。。。
丽：今天你有时间吗？
我：可以吧。
丽：我们9点半在那酒吧见面，可以吗？
我：可。。。。。以。。。。。（不是我没睡醒，我是怕和女人逛街）
我们如约而见，我带她去买了数码相机，然后去中山路吃粉绞，顺便介绍了中山路这条老街。去了博物馆、百盛、青秀山，我这个不称职的导游也没什么地方好去了，她一路走一路用相机东啪西啪，我带她到观音侍里说：上几株香保佑你平平安安，飞黄腾达。她说：中国的信仰是什么？我说：什么都有，做的最多的`就是上香。她说：我喜欢中国。我说：那你就上几株香保佑你以后可以留在中国，不回去了。她说：不，我要回去，我是来这里学习的，我要回到自己的祖国工作生活。突然我哑了，不知道说什么好。
这是什么？她指着签问，我说：那是求签，是看自己的未来，求事业、爱情，想求什么都有。她说：我可以试吗。可以呀。于是就交她先跪下闭上眼睛，双手摇动那竹筒。。。。。掉下一根竹条，带她去求解，大师说了一堆好话，唯一不好的就爱情，说她爱情坎坷，我的天啊，说什么不好，偏说这个不好，女人最敏感的话题，这不是没事找事吗，好才她没听懂，我就翻译说你回去了一切都顺利，在那边找到自己的爱情然后结婚生子，她说：真不赶相信。我说：有人预言2012年世界没日，你相信吗？她说：NO。那就是了，信不信在你，我说。她还是有点不明白我说什么……我再解释。。。。。
我们吃过晚饭后她问还去那里吗？
我：不去了，已经差不多，现在8点，走一天也累了，回去早点休息明天上班。
丽：那好吧，这是我在南宁最后一个夜晚，也是最美好的一天，谢谢你。
我：啊。。。。。明天就走了，这么快。
丽：是的，一切都准备好了，先飞北京和朋友集合，再回到自己的国家。
我：哦。。。。。祝你一路顺风！没准备好什么东西送你，不好意思呀！
丽：有啊。（她指着相机）
我：希望它可以给你带来美好的回忆。
丽：希望我们还有机会见面。
我点点头。。。。。然后我们走出饭店。从饭店静静的走到了下个十字路口，她伸出手来，我接应过去，这是我们第3次握手，也是最后一次。。。。。
丽：你这人真好，谢谢你。
我：不客气，下次来南宁再给我电话。
丽：我们可以拥抱吗？我想知道是不是在做梦？
（真聪明，学的真快。）
第一次拥抱老外，还是个俄罗斯美女。
她在我耳边说，其实我爸爸也是中国人，可是爸爸已经在这里有了自己的家，我要回到母亲身边，我不能让妈妈一个人孤单……我来南宁4年没有一个中国朋友，爸爸不让我住他家，所以自己供养自己，完成学业，谢谢你让我感到一丝温暖。。。。。谢谢。。。。。
人生舞台，演好自己那场戏真难，她带走了一丝温暖，却留下了一丝悲伤……。
