Brief historical perspective of ultrasound☻World war two brought sonar equipment to the forefront for defense purposes, and ultrasound was influenced by the ess of sonar instrumentation.
☻From 1947 when the first ultrasound instrument in the world was used in clinic by Dussik to detect intracranial lesion, the diagnostic ultrasound has been developing dramatically especially in the past two decades.
