RPB
RP BUS 有串行RP BUS和并行RB BUS之分,也就是RPB-S和RPB-P。
RPB-S用于BYB501系列
RPB-P用于BYB202系列
在设备更换的过渡阶段,它们可以并存于同一套交换机中,如果一个CP要控制两种不同系列的RP,他们只要具备两种不同的RPHM或者是同时可连串并两种RPB的RPHM

RP EM connection
RPs connected to the RPB-S are housed in subracks called generic device magazines (GDM). A GDM allows printed circuit boards (PCB) from different subsystems to be housed in the same subrack.
A GDM consists of:
• Two RPs for control of the equipment in the GDM.
• 16 slots for device boards. The equipment controlled by the RPs can be devices, such as exchange terminal circuits (ETC) or other RPs, such as Regional Processor with Group Switch Interface (RPG).
• System interfaces, for example EM buses, are supported through the backplane of the subrack.
