This lesson is a new one of Unit 3. It is from PEP English book, the second semester of grade topic of this unit is about how to use the simple past tense to describe the things that happened in past time. This section includes two periods--- Part 1& Part 2. Students will understand and master some new phrases such as “watched TV, washed clothes, cleaned the room” and the target language “what did you do last weekend? I visited my grandparents”. On the basis of the simple present tense and the present continuous tense, this lesson will present a new tense---the simple past tense. It is a difficult plicated tense at the elementary level.
