摘要
的迅猛发展,计算机网络大大地影响了人类的生活方式、商业模式。作为互联网最主要应用的Web正成为整个世界的窗口,它实现了全球用户和各种信息的共享。 Web上各种各样信息的处理已经超出了HTML(HyperText Markup Language)的处理能力。在这种情况下,万维网协会(World Wide Web Consortium ,W3C)于1998年2月提出了XML(eXtensible Markup Language)。由于XML具有灵活性、易于使用等优点,正在逐渐成为Web上信息的主要表示和交换工具。XML是一种面向正文的数据模型,这种模型非常类似于半结构数据模型。
本文首先介绍了半结构化数据XML和数据库,指出了XML是一种半结构数据,介绍了半结构数据和传统数据库的区别。XML就其本身而言不是数据库,它必须依赖传统数据库存储数据,才能广泛地运用到Web中。然后介绍了DOM,它在XML与数据库的存储中起着重要的作用。通过DOM,XML与关系数据库之间能够实现相互的转换过程。论文以XML与关系数据库的转换为主,详细阐述了XML与数据库的关系、使用XML带来的好处以及建立从关系数据库到XML数据库的转换机制的必要性。最后给出了它们的理论依据。
论文主要解决了以下问题:
(1)讨论了DOM的存取机制和组成,以及DOM树和DOM的主要应用,利用DOM实现了XML与关系数据库的转换;
(2)对XML与数据库之间的转换技术进行了研究,实现了这些技术的转换过程,并以实例的形式对转换过程进行了说明;
(3)从函数依赖的角度分析了XML与数据库相互转换前后的理论依据;

Abstract
With the rapidly development of , work greatly affect people in live style merce model. As web, which is the main application in , is ing the window of the whole world, it has realized the sharing of world user and various information. In web site, HTML (HyperText Markup Language) has not been able to deal with all kinds of information. Under the circumstance, the World Wide Web consortium, W3C for short propose the XML (eXtensible Markup Language). As XML has some merits such as flexibility, easiness for use etc. It is ing the main way of important display and tool for exchange on the web. XML is data model, which is extraordinary resembling semi-structured data model.
First, this paper introduces the semi-structured data (XML) and database, indicates XML is semi-structured data and shows the difference between semi-structured data and conventional database. XML is not database. It must depend on relational database storing data and can be widely used on web. Next, DOM is introduced, it is very important in the storage between XML and database with DO
