every four years=every fourth year每四年
every 与数词连用,表示“每……,每隔……”不能换成each. 具体用法是:
every+基数词+复数名词
every +序数词+单数名词
表示“每隔一……”还可以用every other+单数名词来表示。如:
every two years=every second year =every other year每两年
表示“每隔几……”须用every few+复数名词来表示。
