• There are many kinds of natural disasters such as
earthquake, flood, drought, forest fire, tsunami,
snowstorm, blizzard, hailstorm, hurricane,
typhoon, tornado, landslide, and volcanic eruption.
They may claim our lives and cause great damage
to our properties.

• The fast development of technology and industry Task 2

people’s health, including: air pollution, water
pollution, soil erosion, global warming, exhaustion
of resources, increased amounts of garbage,
more dangerous chemicals, increased rate of
fatal diseases, more stress-related mental
problems…

• Most people give no thought to the dangers Task 1
involved in our daily activities or our work, they Task 2
might get hurt driving on the road or cooking at Task 3
home, or working with some radioactive materials…
• Some eagerly engage in dangerous things for
stimulation or recreation, such as going bungee,
skiing, diving…
• Investors put their money in stock market for the
sake of high reward of it …
