在璀璨的文学长河中,有两部作品一直为我们津津乐道,那就是英国女作家简·奥斯汀(1775—1817)的代表作《傲慢与偏见》和中国文学巨匠曹雪芹(1715—1763)的文学巨著《红楼梦》。两位作家都是以细腻的笔触描写了青年男女在婚姻道路上的悲欢离合的种种情事,但从宏观和全局来看,两部作品对当时黑暗社会现象的披露和揭示也都是非常深刻的。本文拟从两部作品中对男女主人公的塑造上进行对比分析,探讨在不同的文化背景之下,两位作家所表现的爱情观和社会观。
一、男主人公塑造之比较研究
达西与贾宝玉都是被描写成了贵族公子的形象,一个是拥有一年上万英镑收入的贵族,一个是万千宠爱于一身的金陵世家公子。
