Dedication
Growing up on the block, on Elton Street, in the East New York section of
Brooklyn, I knew I was different. What kid spends the summer sitting on a
bench reading “Psychology of Sex”, by Havelock Ellis?
At Cooper Union, as an undergraduate in chemical engineering,
I discovered artists: students who seemed to be who I was, or wanted to be.
