To avoid diffusion the fuel tank outer layer is specially
treated.
Air-vent-valve (A)
When refueling, the unleaded flap is opened
by the filler nozzle and activates the air vent
air vent valve seals the main
expansion chamber(B).
Fuel vapours are now routed to the AFC
system by an additional vent line E connected
to the air vent the nozzle is
removed the air vent valve closes and opens
the internal bypass to the main expansion
fuel gases now flow via the gravity
float valve C to the AFC -Filter.
