Abstract
Conceptual design is very important in designing bridges,which is attached importance step by conceptual design is a four-dimension course,which mainly deals with the relationships of structural forms,mechenical analysis, construction methods and the relationship of the structure to the considering the factors of the four aspects,the best conceptual design blue print would e into being.
Extradosed bridges are a new style of bridges developed quickly in recent years, as it has an elegant sculpture,perfect structure performances and fascinating economy In this paper some conceptual design guidelines are applied to do research on Extradosed the research,some proper design parameters and advices
are bronght forward,which may be used in practical following shows
several aspects of the research in details:
Firstly,the developing history of Extradosed bridges is concluded,including why the concepts of Extradosed bridges e into being,how bridge researchers accelerate the developments of the new style of bridges,the latest states and the possible developing futures.
prehensive survey of this kind of bridges is proper range of design parameters is ,the relations of the ratio of girder stiffness and cable stiffness,the live load carried by cables,and the stress range
of cables would be discussed,which are correlated to structural property of
Extradosed bridges.
Thirdly,the structural behavior and the construction measure of bridge elements
including the girder,tower,and cable are structure details of Extradosed bridges,including saddles,fixation spots of cable—stayed anchors,joints of pylons and girders bination of mix girders are also conducted.
Finally,the major method and process of conceptual design is discussed throu【gh conceptual design of the Sunniberg Bridge in Switzerland.
