ABSTRACT
Currently,as the development of munications industry,the phone’functions change from single municate to images,music and multimedia. Compared with traditional mobile phones,smart phones with its
powerful functions and convenient operation have e more and more popular. But as smart phone e more powerful,its power consumption is also growing. Therefore, we must increase the use time and standby time of
smart phones. One solution is to make the mobile phone battery with greater capacity, but due to technical bottlenecks, there is no progress. Another solution is improving the system design of arge-screen smart phone with advanced technology to reducing power loss. So as to extend the use time and standby time of smart phones. In fact, low-power design has e a more and more pressing issue of smart phone.
Against the power consumption of smart phones,this thesis design and
implement a method to reduce power consumption of large-screen TFT-LCD smart phones,and,at first,the thesis analyzes the display principle of TFT-LCD,then,it analyzes the a variety of related technologies of the
low-power TFT-LCD based on the phone's overall design. Then on this basis,
from tow aspect of hardware and software,the thesis achieves low-power large-screen mobile phone method. In hardware,it uses the ARM7 processor and TFT-LCD driver chip ILI9481,and in software,based on the current mainstream of the of the Android system,it develops a software to reduce LCD power consumption,this software shuts down unwanted software according to demand,controls the brightness of the LCD display during the time management and the external environment,After testing,the software can effectively reduce the power consumption of mobile systems,and extend
the use of mobile phones on a single charge time.
