1. INTRODUCTION
This user’s manual is intended for familiarization with "SIMICONISKRA"M police speed sensor and study of its operating rules.
This operation manual spreads on all speed sensors manufactured according to 4278-018-31002820-2007 TU technical requirements.
2. BASIC FUNCTIONS AND POSSIBILITIES
The police speed sensor is intended for usage by traffic police officers with the purpose of the traffic speed control on roads and streets.

The speed sensor is placed at the patrol vehicle, capable of speed measuring in motion or in stationary position of the vehicle. In the latter case the speed sensor allows to measure the speed of targets through windshield or rear glass of the patrol vehicle. The speed sensor could be used in the manual (single-pulse) and in the automatic operating modes.
The speed sensor also could be mounted on stationary object. In stationary mode the speed sensor singles out the fastest moving target in a traffic stream. In moving mode the speed of patrol vehicle is determined in addition of the ing or outgoing targets speed.
