Work in groups. Introduce your local museums and pare the differences. Museums include art galleries, art museums, history museums, memorial halls, military museums, museums of natural history, furniture museums, stone carving museums and so on.

Visit a local archaeological museum or read a book about archaeology and choose a discovery that interests you. For every object that archaeologists find, they make an index card, such as shown below. Make two index cards for two objects which you are familiar with. Then give a short report about an archaeological discovery of your choice. Try to suggest what we can learn about the people’s life at that time from studying these objects, and what the objects were used for, and the story about it.
