南宋著名词人吴文英,不仅现存词数量多,在两宋词人中居第四位,而且还是南宋最具个性和最富创造力的词人之一。他上承周邦彦,在继承传统中另辟蹊径,于辛弃疾的豪放和姜夔的清空之外,另创幽隐密丽一格,他把婉约词向曲幽深婉的方向发展,在南宋词坛上卓然一家,是一位颇有影响的词人。在中国词史上,吴文英也是一个引起过不少争论的词人。本文试图从分析吴梦窗词的特点切入,解读吴梦窗的个性,创造力,以及对南宋词的继承和发展。

Abstract

吴文英(约1200—1260)①,南宋词人,字君特,号梦窗,晚年又号觉翁,浙江宁波人,《宋史》无传。他一生中无远游,足迹所到之处主要在江苏、浙江两省,以在苏州、杭州两地的时间最长。并以苏州为中心,北上到过淮安、镇江,苏杭道中又历经吴江垂虹亭、无锡惠山,及茹霅二溪。游踪所至,每有题咏。他一生未仕,以布衣身份往来于官僚权贵之门,因此结交不少达官显贵,他和嗣荣王赵与芮,参知政事吴潜,京湖制置大使贾似道,史弥远之子史宅之等都有交往。晚年一度客居越州,先后为浙东安抚使吴潜及嗣荣王赵与芮门下客。
然虽为布衣,却因文采而名垂史册。黄升并引尹焕《梦窗词叙》云:“求词于吾宋者,前有清真,后有梦窗。此非焕之言,四海之公言也。”于此可见其造诣之深、声名之著!梦窗词学清真,
