Part 1
一、现在进行时的用法:
1、表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作。可以有now, Look, Listen等标志词。
He is exercising now.
Listen, they are talking about the new movie.
It’s seven o’clock, the Smiths are watching a football game on TV.
2、表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。可以有these days, this month 等时间标志。
We are working on a farm these days.
My brother is writing a novel this month.

二、现在进行时的结构:be (am/is/are) + V-ing
肯定句式: 主语+ am/is/are + V-ing….
否定句式: 主语+ am/is/are not + V-ing….
肯定:I’m running.
否定:I’m not running.
肯定:Mom is making soup.
否定:Mom isn’t making soup.
肯定:The students are listening to a CD now.
否定:The students aren’t listening to a CD now.
=is not
=are not
一般疑问句:Am/Is/Are +主语+V-ing…? 肯定回答:Yes,主语+am/is/are. 否定回答:No,主语+am/is/are not.
特殊疑问句:What am/is/are +主语+doing? 回答:主语+am/is/are +V-ing….
Q: Are you doing your homework?
A: Yes, I am./No, I’m not
Q: Is he talking on the phone?
A: Yes, he is./No, he isn’t.
Q: What are they doing?
A: They are playing basketball.

三、动词-ing形式的构成:
类别
构成方法
例词
1、一般情况
加-ing
do - doing
look - looking
clean - cleaning
2、以不发音字母e 结尾的动词
去掉e,再加-ing
make - making
dance - dancing
write - writing
3、以重读闭音节结尾的动词,末尾只有一个辅音字母
双写这个辅音字母,再加-ing
run - running
get - getting
begin - beginning
4、以ie为结尾的重读音节
变ie为y, 再加-ing
lie - lying
die - dying
tie - tying
