Why was the band named “Beyond”?
Beyond , a rock band from Hong Kong, was founded in 1980s there were a lot of bands in Hong Kong,but only a few of them wrote their own songs. Most of the songs in Hong Kong were adapted songs(改编歌曲).Huang Jiaju thought that Hong Kong people should have their own music .So, they named their band “Beyond” which means “超越” in Chinese in order to show their pursuit of original music(原创音乐). And this is why it finally es the most famous band in Hong Kong.
The members of Beyond has changed for several times from 1983 to1985
The most well-known members are Huang Jiaju, Huang Jiaqiang ,Huang Guanzhong and Ye are called The four squad of Beyond (Beyond 四子)
