Purpose & Requirements of a JQE
The role of the Joint Quality Engineer (JQE) is to serve as a supplier representative and jointly works with Flex/IDW’s SQE in order to achieve joint ess in achieving supplier quality goals.
The JQE is responsible for driving quality improvements at his/pany for Flex/IDW parts and preparation for new products
A JQE uses documentation tools and submits regular reports to the respective Flex/IDW SQE for review.
Probation Period - 3 months to determine if the candidate is suitable. During this period, the JQE will be assessed based on parison scores between a Self-Audit Assessment and a Audit Assessment conducted by Flex/IDW SQE. If gap between these 2 scores are less than 5%, the JQE can be certified.

JQE Annual Action Plan
The Plan outlines the task of JQE for the fiscal year follow Flex/IDW calendar year which starts April
Submitted annually on 15 March
Major revisions allowed before each quarter
Submission deadline is 15 working days before start of quarter
Progress tracking - Update and submit to Flex/IDW SQE by 10th day of each month
Each update must put in rev # and date in the plan
File name to be: JQE_AnnualActionPlan_FY07_(suppliername)_(mfgsite)_(rev)_(yearmonthday)

RTY and OBA Report
Update daily on product quality performance at supplier site
Applicable :-
1st 30 days of new product manufacturing after AQP Review
Product with excursion in Flex/IDW manufacturing lines
Send to Flex/IDW SQE by 12 pm for previous day’s production yield
E-mail notification must include the summary of the yie
