一、所谓非谓语动词,就是不用来作谓语的动词的其它形式。在英语中,一个句子中如果出现两个动词或者两个以上的动词,留下一个作谓语,其它的动词可用做从句的谓语动词或者用做非谓语动词的三种形式之一。

动词三. done 动词的过去分词

1. 不定式的形式
1) I want to buy a new coat.
2) She seemed to be writing a letter when I
entered.
3) He was said to have studied abroad ,but I
don’t know which country he studied in.
4) Mr Cross seemed to have met the visitor
somewhere.
5) Do you want to be taught French ?
6) He is said to have been writing his paper all
the morning.
2. 不定式在句中的作用:
1) To see once is better than to hear a hundred
times. (主语)
2) Her wish is to e a world-famous pop
star. (表语)
3) He decided to have another try. (宾语)
4) She promised not to tell lies in future. (宾语)
5) I have a lot of homework to do today. (定语)
6) To improve our oral English, we find
as many opportunities as we can to
practise speaking. (状语)
7) They hurried to the station, only to find
the train had already left. (状语)
8) I’m glad to see you.(状语)
9) We’re expecting her e back. (宾补)
10) I saw the thief break into the house .
(宾补) (复合宾语)
对比:
We often hear her play the piano at the
next door.(动作的过程)
We heard her playing the piano at the
next door just now.(两个动作同时发生)
*用法:
make/let /have 和感官动词 see/look at/notice/listen(to)/hear/help/
watch…等后面跟省去to的动词不定式,.
She had me recite the whole text this
morning.
I listened to the birds sing in the wood.
They were watching the baby play in the
garden.
*注意:
1)在使役动词中,只有make能用在被动中。
I’m made to do some housework at
weekend, washing dishes, for example.
2)而且所有这些动词用在被动时不省略
“to”..
The old lady was helped to walk across
the street.
She is often seen to do some exercise
early in the morning.
