摘要
七号信令网作为电信网的神经网络,一直发挥着举足轻重的作用。但是,随着通信技术的不断发展、网络的不断变化特别是IP网络的兴起,七号信令网也面临着新的挑战。一方面,信令网本身负荷的不断膨胀促使人们寻找新的容量更大的信令承载链路,lP网无疑是一个经济的解决方案。另一方面,电信网与IP网的逐渐融合及业务的交叉使得7号信令与IP网信令互通的需求日益强烈。要解决这一切,如何将七号信令与IP结合在起是首先要思考的问题。
七号信令网与lP网结合有不同的形式,本文主要研究使用IP网来替换传统七号信令链路的方法。电路交换网与IP分组网络存在着本质的不同,本文深入分析了这种替换的可能性及需要解决的技术问题, 依据IETF制定的IP网传输七号信令的SCTP协议,提出了一个实际可行的解决方案。文中介绍了SIGTRAN,SCTP相关技术标准,并给出了该方案实际系统的总体设计及软硬件的详细设计。
依据该设计方案,作者开发了一个可以透明替换七号信令链路的设备。通过这种替换,一方面可以利用IP网的高带宽以一种经济有效的方式解决信令网负荷重的问题,,另外一方面也为网络间的信令互通及通信网向全IP网的演进打下了基础。
根据理论数据的分析及实际测试结果表明,该系统在保证IP带宽

的条件下,可以稳定的提供良好的信令替换链路,证明了以IP传送七
号信令的技术理论是正确的,同时该系统的设计方案也是切实可行的。
