EQ operation manual
EQ is the abbreviation of equalizer. Each recording engineer should be master of EQ, which controls the tone by controlling the gain or attenuation of certain bands of sound.
Hussein: EQ can be used for noise reduction technology. EQ generally has three parameters: one is F (requency), through the control of it, to make sure that you increase or decrease the frequency; two is G (AIN), through the control of it, in order to achieve the currently selected band promotion or decay; three is Q (uantize) by controlling on it, you need to select the gain or attenuation band width". It's important to note that the smaller the Q value you set, the wider the frequency bands you're dealing with, and the narrower the frequency you're dealing with, the more you set the Q value.
There are mon equalizers, one is the simplest, fixed frequency point, fixed Q value of the three segment equalizer. This equalizer is often seen on analog mixers and home amplifiers. Mark LOW, MID, and HIGH respectively to represent the frequency bands they are processing. Most of this equalizer is low-end products, can only be a simple upgrade, not so professional. There is also a fixed Q value, fixed frequency points of the multi section equalizer. This equalizer is often used in field reinforcement. Sound field used pensate the scene.
