在建筑工程中,建筑防水技术是一门综合性,应用性很强的工程技术科学,是建筑工程技术的重要组成部分,对提高建筑物使用功能和生产、生活质量,改善人居环境发挥重要作用。防水工程是一项系统工程,它涉及到防水材料、防水工程设计、施工技术、将筑物的管理等各方个方面。建筑防水工程的任务则是综合上述诸方面的因素,进行全方位评价,选择符合要求的高性能防水材料,进行可靠、耐久、合理、经济的防水功能工程设计,认真组织,精心施工,完善维修、保养管理制度,以满足建筑物及构筑物的防水耐用年限,实现防水工程的高质量及良好的综合效益。同时,防水工程是一项要求较高的专业技术,所以施工专业化是保证屋面防水工程质量的关键,如果施工操作不认真,技术不够,其后果必然导致防水工程的失败。防水工程质量建筑防水工程整体质量的要求是:不渗不漏,保证排水畅通,使建筑物具有良好的防水和使用功能。建筑防水工程的质量优虐优劣与防水材料、防水设计、防水施工以及维修管理等密切相关,因此必须高度重视。
