RAW MATERIALS
ensure quality of ing and in house raw materials
maintain materials in formulation as far as possible, minimise substitutions to maintain patibility
initially negotiate with suppliers rather than change materials if price issues arise
minimise number of materials in inventory to simplify formulation and process
use of masterbatches of pigments for sensitive and small quantities

FORMULATION
formulation is the responsibility of the R&D department, R&D are also responsible for maintenance of the formula data base
R&D department role is to provide formulation to Production which will meet customer requirements
formula changes only done by or approved by R&D department
production formula should be checked and approved by R&D prior to manufacture of each batch
requests for formula modifications e from Sales through customer request or from Production if problems are experienced during production

Our basic process is:

sieving & packing

PROCESS CONTROLS
PROCESS CONTROL BEGINS WITH THE CUSTOMER ORDER
customer order generates production request from Sales department to Production
production formulation is issued by Production Department
formulation should be approved by R&D for technical acceptability, QC for processing and Production for final acceptance before starting production

EQUIPMENT
equipment with a constant performance is necessary for consistent powder production
the equipment must be capable of doing the task properly, safely and consistently
different equipment may be req
