基数词变序数词
表示顺序的数词叫序数词。基数词变序数词
的规则是:
(1) 大部分数词在词尾加th :
如: fourth(第四) thirteenth(第十三)
hundredth(第一百)
(2) 表示整十的基数词, 变 y为ie, 再加 eth;
如:twentieth 第二十 eightieth第八十
(3) 特殊的序数词有: 第一 first, 第二 second, 第三 third, 第五 fifth, 第八 eighth, 第九 ninth ,第十二 twelfth

(4) 要把一个“几十几”, “几百几”的基数词变成序数词,只需把个位数变成序数词。
如: 32---thirty-second
256--- two hundred and fifty-sixth
(5) 在表示编号的东西时,可以用基数词表示, 也可用序数词表示
如: the first lesson = Lesson One
the sixth grade = Grade Six

基变序有规律,结尾字母是 th; 一、二、三,特殊记,结尾字母是 t, d, d;八去t, 九去e; f 要把ve替。ty 将 y 变成 i, th前面有个e;几十几,也好记,只变个位就可以。
