一、教材内容分析
This period provides us 3 parts. In this period, students learn the names of different kinds of professions and learn to talk about future intentions. Activity 1a provides students some kinds of professions, students review earlier vocabulary and know some new words. Like: engineer, pilot and so on. Activity 1b provides listening practice using the target language. Students listen and match the professions to the action. Activity 1c provides guided oral practice using the target language: What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? They make up conversations to talk about future jobs. From words to phrases then to sentences, these three parts are connected with each other. And the difficulty is increasing step by step.

The topic in this period is just the one students always talk about in their daily life. After studying this period, students will love their life more than before. Also, they will work harder than before to make their e true in the future.
