REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
INTRODUCTION
Banning Unified School District is soliciting proposals for bond underwriting services. The financial advisor will support the District in the sales of voter approved bonds for miscellaneous capital improvement projects.
The District currently has a voter approved General Obligation Bond capacity of $63 million. Of that $63 million, $ million in bonds have been issued in Series A and B. The District has $ million in unused capacity.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Financial advisor services to be provided in conjunction with the funding of a bond, and the District’s current debt structure including, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare official statements or other necessary financing documents to provide the market with timely and accurate information about the District and its financial situation, with the help of the Business Office.
Assist municating with rating agencies and addressing their requirements.
Make mendations regarding the conditions and form of bond sales.
Assist in the closing of the transaction(s) if necessary.
Prepare bond amortization schedules at the level necessary to calculate future debt service payments and satisfy accounting, budgetary and borrowing requirements.
Assist in the post offering responsibilities for each sale, including pliance with con
