2. Writing Style of the Text: Science Fiction
What is fiction?
Fiction is a story created from an author’s imagination. Fiction differs from biographies, histories, and other nonfiction, which are created entirely from facts.
Forms of fiction:
novels, short stories, dramas and narrative poems

The Fun They Had
The author Issac Asimov describes children’s education in the next century which is quite different from what it is today. But is this type of education desirable in every way? That’s what he makes us think about.

3. Reading Skills
1) Using Word Part clues to guess word meanings: Recognizing more prefixes and suffixes.
See textbook (pages 48~49) and do the exercises (pages 49~50)
2) How to read a text
It is advisable to read a text at least twice: the first time, to obtain a general impression of the text, and then a second time to concentrate on the important details. Sometimes a third reading is necessary – to check items that caused difficulty.
