Austin 21 wrote her first novel, entitled "first impression", publishing her connection to the publisher, no results. In the same year, she began to write "Eleanor and Marianne", after she had written "Northanger Abbey", written in 1799. Ten years later, the initial impression after rewriting, for the name of pride and prejudice, Eleanor and Marianne after rewriting, for the reason and emotion, were published.
