电子制造业台商赴大陆投资的区位选择研究

摘要

近年来台湾厂商对大陆的投资案件比例日益增加,部分地区的分布
十分集中,主要集中于长江三角洲、珠江三角洲与环渤海湾三大地区,
其他地区比例相对偏低。本文以 McFadden 的多项式罗吉特模型实证分析
电子制造业台商至大陆投资的设厂区位选择因素,并探讨主要投资区位
是否存在聚集经济现象,过去罗吉特模型探讨区位选择问题时对区位方
案的处理存在不妥当的地方,导致参数校估的偏误。本文针对此情形定
义适当的规模变数,以反映分群方案规模大小,减少参数校估的误差。
此外针对方案数太多的问题将采用随机抽样的方法处理。
本文以 2005 年台商赴大陆投资之上市公司资料及多项罗吉特模型,
分析台商赴大陆投资电子产业之区位选择因素,并考量方案总计的问题
及检讨过去使用罗吉特模型在区位选择上的设定偏误,本文采用七个变
数,包含工资水平、研究发展、市场容量、聚集经济、规模变数、港口
可及性、基础建设,实证分析采用 2005 年赴大陆投资电子产业的上市上
柜公司资料,方案的选定则为该年度实际有投资案件的省(市)级行政
区,包含北京、天津、上海、江苏、浙江、福建、湖北、广东与重庆等
九个区位选择方案,实证结果显示,影响电子制造业台商赴大陆投资设
厂的区位因素为工资水平、市场容量与聚集经济。
由于本文着重的主题为台商在大陆投资的区位选择,因此忽略了台
商与外国厂商之间的关联性,尤其是上下游厂商为国外跨国企业所设立
时,本文所采用的资料无法反映其聚集效果及产业的垂直整合。

LOCATION SELECTION IN CHINA

ABSTRACT

Recently, there are more and more Taiwanese invested in Mainland. Most
of corporations congregated in three areas, Yangtze River delta, Pearl River
delta, and Bo Hai Coastal Region. MaFadden’s Multinomial logit model is
applied in the research to figure out the locational choice factors of electronic
companies who invested in China. And find out if Agglomeration Economies
exist in Taiwanese investment zone. In many studies, logit models have been
monly to prove locational choice problems. However it could not
define and model locational alternatives appropriately, and resulted in biased
estimation. Therefore, in this paper we will identify a size variable function
to reflect the problem of aggregation alternatives. Moreover, random sample
is taken to get rid of unnecessary alternatives.
