英美部分高校交叉学科建设研究及借鉴

摘要

研究英美高校交叉学科建设的体制机制经验和成功发展道路,有
助于我国高校交叉学科建设体制机制的完善,有助于推进我国高校的
交叉学科建设。
本文选取英美两国的部分顶尖高校的交叉学科建设进行研究。
针对美国的交叉学科设置,内外部交叉学科建设动力,多样化、
多元化的交叉学科研究组织模式,以及促进交叉学科建设的体制、机
制等方面内容进行分析,在典型案例中选取麻省理工大学、斯坦福大
学、密歇根大学等三所大学进行分析。
针对英国牛津大学采取多视角介绍学科交叉传统,剑桥大学则选
取具体的交叉学科研究组织的建立过程来阐述剑桥大学独特的学科
交叉文化。试图从多角度介绍英美一流高校的交叉学科建设经验,从
而为我国交叉学科体制机制的构建寻求借鉴经验。
在构建促进交叉学科建设的理想体制机制模式一章中,从新型学
科组织的建立、创新型管理体制、人才合理流动和灵活多元化的运行
机制等七个方面进行研究,提出以下几个主要观点。在体制上,应打
破“学科壁垒”,促进不同学科文化的融合;加强不同学科学者间的
沟通,减少教师队伍的“近亲繁殖”;建立灵活的评价体系;建立一
批跨学科的交叉研究中心,开展跨学科的交叉研究。在机制上,应营
造有利于学科交叉的环境,吸引学科带头人;考核评估体系向交叉学
科倾斜,提高参与人员的积极性。构建合理人才流动机制、团队优化
机制、资金投入机制、交流与合作机制、决策机制、资源共享机制、
评估机制等,促进交叉学科建设的跨越式发展。

ABSTRACT

Through parison with our Universities and some famous Universities in the
. and ., it shows that our Universities had a lot of ings on the
conception, system development, mechanism innovation and etc. on the
interdisciplinary development. So, it will be definitely beneficial to us that, according to
learning from those essful Universities, it can develop our Universities on both
system development and mechanism innovation, and will also upgrade our conception
of how to make our interdisciplinary perfect.
The paper picked out five representative Top-Level Universities for their predominant
experience in interdisciplinary development. It can be divided in to two parts:
Firstly, the paper introduced the history, actuality of the disciplinary development, and
analyzed the various impetus of interdisciplinary development in . The paper
select three Universities: Harvard University, Stanford University and University of
Michigan, as the study cases to analyze the reason of their outstanding achievements
on interdisciplinary develop
