Subject content and scope of application
This standard prescribed the structure, dimensions and mass of adult man 50 percentile three dimensional H point device (hereinafter “Device”) used when measuring the internal dimensions of vehicles.
This standard is applicable to the three dimensional H point devices for the measurement of internal dimensions of vehicles.

Terms
Backboard
The backboard is a curved plate imitating the shape of one’s back (see ).
Bed plate
The bed plate is a curved plate imitating the shape of the under surface of the buttocks and thigh (see ).
Knee point
The knee point is the hinge central point equivalent to the knee joint.
Ankle point
The ankle point is the hinge central point equivalent to the podarthrum.
Back bracket
The back bracket is ponent that supports the backboard and chest weight using the H point as the joint pivot. (see ).
Body rod
It means the detecting rod that measures the inclination angle of backboard and head space, its central line is the body line (see ).
T-shaped rod
T-shaped rod means a rod, with the shape of the letter “T”, connecting the two calves to the bed plate through the control rod (see ). It can adjust the length of thigh.
Control rod
The control rod is ponent that fixes the bed plate and T-shaped rod’s trailing arm (see ).
Back angle
The back angle is the forward inclination or backward inclination angle of the body rod relative to the plumb line.
Buttocks angle
The buttocks angle is the angle between the body rod and the T-shaped rod’s trailing arm.
Knee angle
It is the angle between the link passing through the knee point and ankle point and the T-shaped rod’s trailing arm.
