【摘要】为了找出影响独立学院大学生英语学习动力的因素,以达到激发独立学院大学生英语学习动力的目的,-amtb(attitude/motivation test battery)设计了大学英语学习动力因素问卷调查表,对武汉两所独立学院的534名学生进行了问卷调查,对调查的数据进行了研究和分析,找出了影响独立学院学生英语学习动力最主要的因素,并在此基础上给出了激发独立学院大学生英语学习动力的方法和途径。

【abstract】 in order to explore the factors which influence students’ english learning motivation in independent colleges and to motivate
students’ english learning motivation in independent colleges, 534 students’ questionnaires from two independent colleges in wuhan are conducted in
this paper and the questionnaire is designed on the basis of -amtb(attitude/motivation test battery). the data from the
questionnaires are studied and analyzed, by which the most prominent factors influencing students’ english learning motivation in independent
colleges have found out. some suggestions are put forward on how to activate students’ english learning motivation in independent colleges.

1 引言
学习动力是影响英语学习效果的重要因素[1]。学生的英语学习动力受多方面因素的影响, 如学习兴趣,学习习惯,学习自制力,教师,学校环境,氛围等因素的影响。由于独立学院兴起的时间不长,关于独立学院大学生英语学习动力因素的研究还不是很多。文章通过问卷调查的方式对影响独立学院学生英语学习动力因素进行了研究和分析,并在此基础上给出了激发独立学院大学生英语学习动力的方法和途径。它们已成功运用于大学英语教学中,良好的教学效果验证了其科学性和合理性。希望文章能为独立学院的英语教学提供理论和实践上的帮
