摘要
从二十世纪七十年代以来语言教学工作者和研究者逐渐将研
究视角从以教师为中心 teacher-centered)转向以学习者为中心
(learner-centered) 其中学习者个体差异学习者策略学习成绩
之间的关系成为重要研究对象本文着重研究学习者个体差异中的
一个重要变量即学习观念与学习策略学习成绩的关系主要围绕
以下几个研究问题 1. 大学英语学习者学习观念中哪些较强哪些
较弱 2. 大学英语学习者学习策略使用总体状况如何哪些学习策
略为学习者所偏爱
是否存在显著相关关系如果存在具体表现在哪些方面
好的学习者与成绩差的学习者在学习观念学习策略使用方面存在
显著差异吗
根据 Horwitz 1987 的分类学习观念分为外语学能观念 beliefs
about foreign language aptitude) 语言学习难度观念语言学习本质
观念学习和交际策略观念动机和期望观念 beliefs about motivations
and expectations) 就学习者策略而言 Oxford(1990)将学习策略分为
直接策略和间接策略其中直接策略包括认知策略记忆策略补
偿策略间接策略包括元认知策略社会策略和情感策略
本研究以定量研究为主根据 Horwitz’s(1987) BALLI 和 Oxford’s

ABSTRACT
Since the early 1970s research concerns in the field of second
language teaching began to shift from the methods of teaching to learner
characteristics and their possible influence on the process of acquiring a
second language. The relationship between individual differences among
learners, learning strategies, learning e is one of the areas that
many researches have focused on. This research is intended to explore the
relationship between learners’ beliefs about language learning, learning
strategies, and learning achievement, centering on the questions as
follows: is the overall picture of the beliefs about foreign
language learning held by the college English learners in mainland China?
What are the stronger beliefs and the weaker beliefs that they have? 2.
What is the overall picture of the strategies used by the learners in their
foreign language learning? What strategies are preferred by the learners?
3. Is there any statistically significant correlation between the learners’
beliefs and their strategies? If any, what are the specific correlations
between them 4. Do higher scorers and lower scorers in the English
