摘要
李鸿章是一个颇具争议的人物,毁誉参半。本文试从军队近代化的角度来分析近代李鸿章对我国军队近代化的影响。本文主要从李鸿章组建的淮军和北洋水师入手,首先根据各个文献,总结并提出近代化军队的特点,然后,就淮军与北洋水师的特点与之进行比较,并最终得出结论:淮军只能算是“半近代化”的陆军,北洋水师在可以算是“近代化”的海军,而李鸿章在中国军队近代化中功不可没,他不但有力地促进了中国军队的近代化,并且也连带着推动了中国的近代化。
本文的创新之处就在于,与以往的论文使用模糊的“近代化”“军队近代化”“近代化军队”的概念不同,笔者首先就利用文献资料给出了近代化军队的特点,并且阐明“近代化军队”与“军队近代化”的关系,然后以此为理论基础,探讨李鸿章与中国军队近代化的关系。

Abstract
Li hongzhang is a person with much controversy, and he gets both praise and blame. This paper tries to analyze Li hongzhang‘s influence on China‘s military modernization in terms of the military modernization. This paper begins from the building-up of Huai army and North-ocean navy, and firstly sums up the features of modernized military and pares the features of Huai army and North-ocean navy with them one by one; finally this paper draws a conclusion that Huai army is an “half-modernized” army and North-ocean navy is a modernized navy. And Li hongzhang‘s contribution can’t be neglected. He not only pushed the modernization of China‘s military heavily but also pushed the modernization of China.
This paper’s innovation place is that this paper does not use the obscure concept “modernization””modernized military””military modernization” like former papers. Author firstly gives some features of modernized military by summing up many papers, and sets forth the relation between “modernized military” and “military modernization”, and then basing on it, discusses the relation between Li hongzhang and China’ military modernization.
