The title of the passage is "This is my sister". To make my presentation clear, I'd like to divide the teaching structure into 5 parts: analysis of teaching material, analysis of Ss, analysis of teaching and learning methods, teaching procedure and blackboard design. Now I am about to present them one by one.
1. Analysis of teaching material
This lesson is from Unit 3 of Grade 7(Section A),PEP.. This text is about identifying and introducing family members, which the content is related to Ss' daily life. The new pattern "Is this your sister?" is based on "Is this your pencil?" and the sentence "Who is this?" is naturely developed from the one "What's this?". There are lots of new words in this part, which are helpful for them to introduce someone in daily life. The task in this lesson is not easy. According to the Ss’ English level and the demands of the New Standard English, I divide my lesson objectives into three categories: knowledge objects,ability objects and moral objects.
Knowledge Objects: To enable Ss to grasp new words "grandfather,grandmother,grandparents,father,mother,parents,son,daughter,sister,brother,aunt,uncle,cousin,friend,these,those". Train Ss to have a general idea of Plural Number and know when to use Plural Number and when to use Singular Number.

Ability Objects:To promote Ss' ability on reading,list
