Abstract
By the use of NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data in the period of 1950·1998 and the precipitation data of 1951—2000 in China,the characteristics of the air—sea heat fluxes over the Pacific ocean and its relationship to the precipitation of China in Summer is major results are presented as follows:
From December to August of next year,the distribution of heat flux in the North Pacific ca/l be sorted into three different types,while there is two main pattern of its anomalies:in Winter and Spring,the northeast—southwest bipolar is presented,and that zonal anomalOUS heat flux in summer.
On the other hand,precit)itation of the middle of Yangze River in summer is less (greater)when heat flux exchange from the ocean to the a岫10sphere is intensified (suppressed)in the eastward ocean of Japan and heat flux in its north—east ocean is suppressed(intensified)in previous preceding Spring,a negative correlation between the heat flux over the ocean to the north—east Philippines and the slimmer rainfall of the south of Yangze River is there is poor correlation between heat flux in the Pacific ocean and the suinmer precipitation of China.
Finally,relationship between heat flux in the Pacific ocean and the rainfall of China
in Summer on annual scale have also been results indicated that there is
