Abstract
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Wenyanbo is important for the medium-term political ,he began to manage royal government in Songrenzong Dynasty . He witnessed a series of events the Northern Song Dynasty medium : Song Xia war,Qingli New policy , Wangze Rebellion , Xining Reform, Yuanyougenghua Shaoshengshaoshu. Yanbo’character is broad-minded and meek .He is a capable Minister and make the effort to put his own political ideal and political views into his long-term official career, he was active on the political affairs in the Northern Song Dynasty.
Wenyanbo became a Jinsheng in the fifth year of Songrenzong Tiansheng period. From then on he began his offical career . Wenyanbo held essively a post in Yuci Yicheng two counties. Afterwards, Yanzhou to Hedonglu zhuanyunshi,Zhizhou in Weizhou , Qinzhou, Yizhou,.In his official period for the regulated area of economic, cultural, military affairs were able to plish something. Song Xia war, the fighting in the front, Yanbo, he used active defense ways to enhance bat effectiveness of the armed forces to safeguard the interests of the Song government in the border areas. Qingli seven years (1047) in March, Yanbo entered the power core of Northern Song Dynasty, he took office as vice-minister and prime minister . Wenyanbo put down Wangze RebellionWhen he was a vice-minister. He also dealed with well unexpected events, the issue of inheritance,All of this show that Wenyanbo is a suitible official.
In Xifeng period ,Yanbo had different attitudes with Songshenzong and Wang’anshi in reform and expanded margin .He was against the Song government launched a war initiativly, he also opposed reform.
