网络管理系统是网络的重要组成部分,是保证通信网正常、可靠、经济和安全地运行的重要支撑手段,很多网络特性的使用和提供,在很大程度上取决于相应的网络管理系统的能力和质量。同时,在通信网建设初期,主要是靠通信网本身的建设来提高网络能力,随着通信设备使用水平的不断提高,当网络能力达到一定的程度后,通信网能力的进一步提高,将由主要依靠网络本身建设转向网络和网管系统同步建设上来。因此,从“八五”末期开始,我国把网管系统的建设看成提高服务质量和网络能力、保证网络运行质量、增加企业经济效益的重要手段,从而开展了较大规模的网管系统建设。
然而,网络的快速增长使得人们对全面互联互通的要求越发迫切,但是,网络的开放是一把双刃剑,随着私人网向公众网的迁移,任何组织都可能将其业务扩展到全球,但是与此同时,这也使得企业面临更多种类的安全威胁。所以同时我也介绍了网络管理中安全资源部分。
需要指出的是,日新月异的网络技术远非一篇文章所能包容的,由于我的水平和精力有限,对于欠妥乃至错误之处,希望老师多多批评指正。
