The Story of My Loving Mother
23 years ago, a young woman was stranded in our village with bed hair and a dirty face. She always laughed foolishly to everybody she met. She even didn’t feel embarrassed about urinating in public. So women in our village often spit at her. Some even kicked her and shouted “ go away”. However, she still stayed and led a stranding life with stupid giggling in our village.
Then my father was already 35 years old. He worked at a stone gathering place and broke his left hand by the machine. With the poor life, he had not got a wife. My grandma thought that woman a little bit beautiful, so she decided to take that woman home to be my father’s wife, then send her away after giving birth to a baby boy. My father was very unpleasant, but accepted it as knowing our poor life condition. Thus, my father became a bridegroom without paying a cent.
When my mother gave birth to me, my grandma said happily with his shriveled mouth having a few teeth: “ This foolish woman! She gave birth to a boy!” However, my grandma took me away. She didn’t allow my mother get close to me.
My mother never stopped her desire of holding me in his arms. She begged my grandma with difficulty too many times: “ let, let me...” Grandma ignored it. I was too little, like a me
