1、summarization
VBS pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve is the new generation of high performance quality product which assembled by pneumatic actuator and double eccentric high performance butterfly valve. It has fine cut-off function and lasting quality, and both the adjustment and cut-off functions of economical automatic valves are available. For the characteristic of big circulation ability, light weight, easy service of maintains, low leakage rate and high cost performance, it widely used in industrial process control or inflammable and explosive occasion such as metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industrial, electric power, food, water supply and gas supply, etc.
2、Structure and operating principle
VBS soft seal butterfly valve is assembled by DA (SR), AW (AWS) series pneumatic piston actuator and VBS valve body parts (See , Fig 2 and ). The valve can be matched with hand wheel and manual operated when the gas is failure. The valve can be either quick opening or closedown when assembled with solenoid valve, and if installed with positioner, the valve can be intelligentized.

2、Operating principle
The input signal from actuator inputting in diaphragm gas room through pipe connection can produce thrust force on corrugated diaphragm, which drives the pallet moving presses the spring until balancing with counterforce of the spring.
