Bird 鸟
1. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
双鸟在林不如一鸟在手。
2. Birds of a feather flock (成群结队) together.
物以类聚,人以群分。
3. The early bird catches the worm.
早起的鸟儿有虫吃。
4. Fine feathers make fine birds.
人要衣装,马要鞍。
5. Kill two birds with one stone.
一箭双雕。
6. Birds in their little nests agree.
同巢之鸟心儿齐。
Horse 马
1. Don’t ride the high horse.
不要摆架子。
2. A horse may stumble (失足) on four feet.
马有四条腿,亦有失蹄时。
3. Lock the barn door after the horse is
stolen.
